Who are we ?

Welcome to the world of Alphonsine Vintage & Design!

My name is Estelle, a passionate creator of handmade decorative objects inspired by geek culture, fantasy worlds, retro aesthetics, and poetic atmospheres. My workshop is located in Alsace, where each piece is imagined, manufactured, and decorated with care. I work hand in hand with my husband, Julien, a graphic designer by trade, who creates all the visuals and designs for the wooden objects we create together.

Our core business is laser-cut wood creations. Each piece is designed by Julien and then cut from PEFC-certified poplar plywood, selected for its finesse and durability. We design original decorative objects: mini magic doors, wall decorations, engraved mirrors, notebooks, and panels inspired by Japan, fantasy, or retro gaming. We also feature references to the steampunk universe, the world of vintage and militaria, and even Art Nouveau.

We also offer custom-made objects, always in an artisanal spirit, at once elegant, playful and full of meaning.

+ Unique candles, cast in the past
At the same time, I create artisanal candles poured by hand in real vintage cups that I have found.
Each model is unique. I select the cups for their old-world charm, their history, or their originality, then I transform them into scented objects in a cottagecore, Victorian, or fairytale style.
I use 100% vegetable wax (soy), without essential oils, and perfumes from Grasse.
Each candle is hand decorated, and once burned, the cup can be reused or kept as a collectible.

+ A creative adventure born in 2010
Before becoming Alphonsine Vintage & Design, the brand had several lives. It all began in 2010, under the name Bonbon Maléfique, with the creation of costume jewelry with an offbeat and colorful style. The brand's universe evolved over time, gradually opening up to the sale of vintage clothing, then to interior design.
In 2019, this change of direction resulted in a new name, more in line with our identity: Alphonsine Vintage & Design.

Since then, we have dedicated ourselves to the artisanal creation of decorative wooden objects and unique candles, always with the same demand for quality, attention to detail and passion for beautiful things.

Our workshop is a small, modern cabinet of curiosities where we manufacture everything in limited editions or to order. We regularly participate in geek conventions to meet those who, like us, love unique objects and the details that make a difference.
