🐱🌊 The Maneki Neko is an essential symbol of luck, protection, and prosperity. Its origins date back to the Edo period (1600-1868), and legend tells how a cat named Tama saved the life of a lord during a storm, bringing luck and prosperity to a now-famous temple.
This original model is entirely handcrafted from PEFC poplar plywood, laser cut and engraved to bring out traditional Japanese details, including the Seigaiha waves on its coat.
